We're kicking off this weekend of love (platonic, romantic, situational, self-love... we're here for all of it!) on this first Friday the 13th of 2026... did you know that we'll have three this year???
While we don't have spooky things planned for today, we do have lots of sweet news, so keep reading to find out what we have going on!
As always, our bakers are making an amazing spread for the pastry case on a daily basis. Haley has developed a particular enthusiasm for decorated sugar cookies, and for the holiday she's whipped up a big batch of Conversation Hearts! You've got your choice of sweet Valentine's Day messages, or Not So Sweet Rejection cookies!
If you're looking for a gift for someone special (obviously we're talking about YOU), might we recommend a mug from the amazingly talented Victory Pottery? Mary dropped off a fresh assortment for the weekend and we're smitten!
We're also expecting a delivery of gorgeous tulips from Pilar's Petals in Lyme. Her flowers are stunning, and we're so pleased to have them at the garage regularly from now through Mother's Day.
When you stop by this weekend, we also highly recommend the Red Flannel Hash from our kitchen! It's a local beet & sweet potato hash topped with Vermont Creamery chevre, hot honey, alongside 2 eggs cooked how you like, and buttered Red Hen multi-grain toast.

❤️ January 30th fundraiser ❤️
On Friday, January 30th we made the decision to fundraise to support the Immigrant Defense Project. With your generous donations and our matching contribution we were able to raise $720. The community continues to share resources on our posting board, and our Community Love Note project has been so popular that we plan to continue it for the foreseeable future!

Our next pour over event with Steve is scheduled for Sunday, February 22nd. Stay tuned later this week for an email that shares all of the exciting beans he'll be featuring!
