We love offering Pour Over events on Sunday mornings at the garage. Even though we still get busy, Sunday mornings are when people often have a little more time to spend the extra few minutes that it takes to brew a precisely crafted cup of pour over. It's also an opportunity for us to highlight some of the most exciting coffees that our roasting partners make available to us! Tomorrow morning we'll be hosting our first themed Pour Over Pop-up with a focus on the birthplace of Arabica coffee - Ethiopia!

If you're interested in the history of coffee and how Arabica coffee expanded beyond Ethiopia sometime between the 14th & 15th century, check out Brief History of the Arabica Genome from Tung Nguyen at the Sprudge Special Projects Desk. It's a quick read, and rich with information about Arabica's arrival in Yemen, and from there, expansion around the world!
Sunday morning from 8-noon Steve will be behind the bar ready to talk coffee while he pours you a beatifully crafted cup! Check out what we'll be serving:
Brio Coffeeworks Ethiopia Reko - notes of candied lemon, raspberry, & black tea
Parlor Coffee
Ethiopia Kolla Bolcha - notes of ripe peach, papaya, black tea, & floral honeysuckle
Carrier Roasting
Ethiopia Dale - notes of white flowers, black tea, & lemon
Iluminar Coffee Ethiopia Natural - a fruity cup with notes of chocolate milk & peach jam
We love having you spend time with us at the garage! If you think you'd like to be here even more often, you might be in luck because we're hiring!
Our kitchen crew will be losing our favorite college student, Camille to the siren song of her campus. If you think you might be the right person to help us serve amazing food to the lovely people in our community, check out our job posts and send us your resume!
Seriously, picture yourself (or someone you know who is responsible, fun, and fired up about food!) working with this crew - amazing!
We'll see you tomorrow morning!
xoxo,
Jessica
