Lucky's is a bustling multi-roaster specialty coffee shop located in historic downtown Lebanon, NH. Our staff works in an often fast paced environment where we are focused on setting each other up for success so that we can best serve our community. Our customers are a great mix of regulars who call the Upper Valley home, as well as those visiting the area. We're looking to add a baker to our small but mighty, talented bakery crew. Ideal candidates are enthusiastic about baking, service, and the Upper Valley community! The bakers are responsible for all aspects of our bakery program, producing a wide range of from-scratch pastries for our dedicated customer base. Creativity, attention to detail and the ability to learn new skills through training and feedback is essential. Please send an email with your resume or past baking/service industry experience. posses/develop skills to include dough mixing and shaping, piping, pastry garnishing, knife skills, strong knowledge of baking procedures and science

demonstrate familiarity with large scale baking equipment such as commercial mixers, ovens, scales, knives, and other equipment (training is available as safety is essential)

physical requirements - ability to lift 50 lbs, as well as ability to stand for long periods

flexibility and the ability to multi-task and manage products at all different stages of the baking process at once
-
for those with severe allergies, please note: our bakers use flour (gluten), dairy, eggs, and nuts along with other food allergens in their workspace
Notes:

Part or Full time position (20-40 hours/week), weekend availability a must, strong preference given to those looking for full time

Our bakers have the option to split their full time hours into 10-hour days, fewer days a week as it fits into daily pastry baking and production, eg. four 10-hour days, or five 8-hour days

at least $22/hour take home pay to start

Prior commercial or large baking experience is ideal, but we are willing to train candidates that exhibit qualities that meet the needs of our crew and workplace culture

Our bakers currently work at our commercial kitchen location in Lebanon but will be integrating back into a shared kitchen prep space with the rest of our back of house staff

We're looking to add to grow our fantastic coffee bar crew. Ideal candidates are enthusiastic about coffee, service, and the Upper Valley Community!
Successful members of our barista crew do the following:

provide genuine, inviting, and attentive service for customers

demonstrate confident knowledge of our coffee and food offerings to provide the best service possible to our community

engage in café care and side tasks throughout the day (beyond open and close duties) so that our co-workers are set up for success, and community members can enjoy their time with us

receive our specialty coffee training and ongoing education, feel empowered to ask questions, and seek feedback as a means to improvement

Full time position (32-36 hours/week)
