While we're not entirely wishing summer away, these blissfully cool mornings have us feeling frisky! Creative energy abounds, and our kitchen crew has crafted some sweet new additions for our menu that will take us through the fall!

New on the menu are the roasted duck sandwich, and the jambon-beurre!
The roasted duck sandwich is served on multi-grain bread from Red Hen Bakery, with lettuce, tomato, duck salad full of tender, roasted pulled duck, roasted & fresh veggies & mayo, and we take to the next level with caramelized onion jam.
The jambon-beurre (ham butter!) is our take on the Parisian cafe classic. We cut thick slices of cotto ham from Vermont Salumi, and layer them with salted Cabot butter, and whole grain dark ale mustard on a warm demi baguette. Naturally we're serving up both with chips and a pickle.

Tuesday, September 2nd brings the return of your fall favorite, the pumpkin spice latte! It's about to be decorative gourd season, and we are not here to play. Grab your scarf, tie on your leaf crunching boots, and get ready to sip on the most perfectly spiced pumpkin treat that you wait for all year!

Coava is Back
Our lovely roasting partners at Coava (Portland, OR) are back in espresso rotation for the fall! Later this week we'll be pulling shots of Nayo Ovalle (Guatemala), with tasting notes of sweet orange, almond butter, and milk chocolate. Starting in September we'll be introducting more variety of retail beans for you to enjoy at home!

And one last treat: last Tuesday we opened a little bit late so we could have a staff meeting (a tricky feat when you're open 7 days a week!), and Deb got us all together for a rare group photo. Look at this amazing crew - we love being a part of this community with you!
