📢 Big Updates from Lucky's 📦

For those of you that like to be in the know... here's some news!

• Friday, June 19th, Lucky's will be closed in observance of Juneteenth.

  
  

• Save the Date - On Sunday, June 28th Steve will be behind the bar with another Pour Over Sunday! Once the menu comes together we'll share it here.
  

• Summer Break - Historically, we've closed for a full week at the end of June. This year we have some unusal summer plans, and so, we've decided to alter our schedule. Rather than a full week, we'll be closed Friday July 3rd - Sunday July 5th.

  
  

  

Lucky's is moving this summer! We're sure that a number of you already suspected this, and we've been coy about answering questions while we worked to make plans behind the scenes. Spring definitely presented more questions for us than answers! Over the coming weeks we'll be keeping you updated on the website and Instagram so you can watch the progress at our new location! First of all, a million thanks for your support! We've received messages, whispers of concern across the bar, words of encouragement, and so many shared phone numbers and email addresses for people who wanted to help us in one way or another. In the face of lots of uncertainty, we felt encouraged to keep going, and inspired by the connection that we all have with one another. Lucky's feels like a heartbeat in this community.

Thinking about leaving the garage felt a little jarring at first, but after lots of talking about it, we came to the conclusion that the physical building is NOT what makes Lucky's special. It's all of you, and our amazing crew, and the ways that we work and socialize in this space together.

Our number one priority in looking for a long term space for Lucky's going forward was staying in our neighborhood, which at first felt like a tall order. With the help of lots of people working behind the scenes we've found a home at One Court St (just the other end of the block!). Three Tomatoes will be our lovely neighbors, and we're working with the building owner and a great group of people to get ready for this transition!

We know that you might have questions and we're happy to answer whatever we can. Please feel free to send messages via the contact form here on our website. In the meantime, if you want to be involved in making the new space feel like home, we're collecting additional license plates at the garage. There will be a milk crate set up by the bench in the cafe where you can drop your plates!

This summer is going to be an adventure and we can't wait for you to see what we're planning!
